Before I begin with how to extend battery life, I want all of you to explain how does charging of a smartphone works. Let me tell you the one most important thing which is proved by the many manufacturers of smartphones i.e If you completed 400 cycles of charging the battery life is reduced by 20% in lithium batteries (charge cycles: complete charging from 0 to 100%).If you charged partially then it is considered partial cycle unless your battery percentage touches 100%. If you want the good and extended battery life from your smartphone then charge it till 80-90% only because in this case you are not completing the full charge cycle and hence it will be counted partial, Thus you can improve your battery life.

Fast charging

Nowadays even the budget smartphones comes with a 65 watt fast charging which is drastically fast but you might be surprised to know that fast charging= stress on batteries and thus a lot of heat is generated and you might be knowing that heat is the biggest enemy of battery.

1.You must remove the cover of the smartphone in order to escape heat quickly. 

2. If you have have a fast charger of more than 15 watts then you should never charge your phone overnight.  

3. Always use the original chargers and cables of the smartphones or the specified chargers in order to boost your battery life.

Boost your battery life!!

1. If you have a AMOLED display then always use the dark mode and dark wallpapers because in dark light the micro LEDs get switched off which will definitely improve your battery performance.

2. You should adjust the brightness according to your surroundings. You should not ON the auto brightness since the sensor consumes the battery. You can keep your brightness on 50% and can change it according to your need

Software updates

1. You should not update your phone quickly as the update comes, you should wait for 2-3 days because in many cases the updates have bugs which effects the overall performance of your battery life.

2. You should use a proper screen out time in order to enhance your battery life.

3. Use the battery saver mode when your battery is less then 60%.

4. You should not use the external application for battery saving.
